| HOME | HIGH SPEED |
3200 1600 800 |
High-speed film has larger grain size, is less sharp with lower saturation in colour. However high speed film can be used in low light situations giving higher shutter speeds, allowing hand holding of the camera with sharp results. |

| GALLERIES | MEDIUM SPEED |
400 200 100 |
Medium speed film has small grain size with excellent sharpness. colour is good with high saturation medium contrast. Allows hand holding in good conditions. |

| INFORMATION | SLOW SPEED |
50 25 |
Slow speed film. Very high sharpness and contrast |
|
| The higher the films speed,
the greater its sensitivity, therefore the less light required for a given
density on film. Different films give different results even at the same
speed, especially in colour Try out different makes carefully to get the
results you like. Remember that the better the processing the better the results, all else being equal. Take care that the film is processed to the highest standards. In black and white development there is great scope for experimentation for desired results with different films and developments. |
